A Hatteras Hotel Is A Great Place To Spend A Relaxing Vacation

There are now two national chains on the island(one in Buxton, and one in Hatteras),but family owned and operated places still dominate the accommodations. Many of these units are no-frills,without phones in the rooms or fancy furnishings,but if you are looking for an affordable place to stay along the quieter stretches of the beaches,don,t overlook Hatteras Island. They offer short term rooms,inns,and efficiency accommodation options. A big hotel is not to be found,but here is one you may be interested in.It is the Comfort Inn, has 60 units,and one suite.

A little of what they have to offer,king size or double beds,and rooms that are decorated in attractive,soft beach colors.
All have cable TV with HBO(who needs TV with so much to do on Hatteras Island),refrigerators,direct-dial phones,and microwaves. Non smoking and wheelchair accessible rooms are available.This Hatteras hotel keeps getting better. They also have free ice and guest laundry.And (best of all for me,a free meal),a complimentary continental breakfast is served in the lobby.Some of the B&B we stay at have a great breakfast.

Guests also have use of the outdoor swiming pool,gazebo,and three story watch tower,the latter providing beautiful views of the ocean,sound and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Personally,I think that you couldn,t go wrong,if you want to take a vacation in a Hatteras hotel. They are also next to the beach and shops. We have used these guys to find information on hotels,and have booked to.What I like is you can find several travel sites to compare their prices and what they offer.We also found out,if the hotel you want is not shown,then it is all booked up.We picked out the place we wanted and waited until the weekend to book for the next week,and they took it off their site because it had been all booked.
