A Nags Head motel is by far the best deal"money wise"you will find on the Outer Banks.On one page I told you about one motel that saved us on a vacation one year.Many years ago,we came to Nags Head,didn't call,internet wasn't here yet,just drove down on a fourth of July.We stopped at every place on the beach road,and after about five miles we found a motel by the name of Ebb Tide that had a vacancy.(I thought for a while,we were going to have to sleep in the car).Cheap Hotel&Motel Locations There are over twenty hotels in Nags Head,and probably more than that in Nags Head motels.The next time we vacation there"every year"I am going to remember to count them.I have saw all of them many times'but never counted the motels.When we get done we are going to find you as many of the Nags Head motels as we can and give you their web sites and make it as easy as falling off of a log.And you'll say"yea right." You have the Dolphin Oceanfront Motel On the Outer Banks.They are close to Fishing piers,charter boat fishing,surf casting,sound and bridge fishing. Also close by are the Cape Hatteras National Park,with almost 40 miles of open beaches. Hang-gliding on Jockey's Ridge (just 4 miles from the Dolphin) the Wright Brothers Memorial(First Flight)in nearby Kill Devil Hills. Roanoke Island Festival Park,which includes the NC Aquarium, Elizabethan Gardens,Ft.Raleigh Historic Site,the Lost Colony Outdoor Theatre Production,and more. It's close to excellent restaurants,Shops,and Outlet stores, Water Sports,including sailing,kayaking,jet skiing,wind sailing, and more. There is also great Golf courses in Kitty Hawk,and Nags Head. The kitchen consists of electric range,refrigerator,microwave and sink.Complete change of linens is provided mid-week.Daily maid service is provided in all rentals.All units have cable TV and HBO,air conditioning,heat,phones and mini refrigerators,and microwaves.
