Nights In Rodanthe was filmed in Rodanthe, not all but most of it.
We have been vacationing to the Outer Banks for many years, and Rodanthe is the northern most village toward Hatteras. We have been there and done that, but it would take a lifetime to see all of the attractions, and visit every town in the Outer Banks.
Nights In Rodanthe is a popular movie. My wife and I watch movies all the time, and I don,t think we ever remember seeing Richard Gere in a movie that wasn't a great movie. How about you?
The movie came out in September,2008.
This movie came about from the novel that was written by Nicholas Sparks. And of course the stars are Richard Gere and Diane Lane. They have starred in two others,The Unfaithful, and The Cotten Club.My wife said that the Unfaithful was a great movie.
This film is rated PG-13.It was filmed in the small seaside village of Rodanthe, the northern most village of the inhabited areas of Hatteras Island,as well as Carolina Beach,North Carolina.
Also of interest is the film,s sound track that features"Love Remains The Same".A song written by Gavin Rossdale for his 2008 debut solo album, despite the fact that it does not appear in the film.
The movie has a excellent plot, but I won,t give it away. You will have to read the novel or watch the movie.
You know that the #1 New York Times best seller was Nicolas Sparks,Nights In Rodanthe. Not only that,he is the author of the Notebook,Message In A Bottle,A Walk To Remember,A Bend In the Road,The Guardian,The Wedding and Three Weeks With My Brother. All of his books were New York Times and international best sellers.
They are translated into more than thirty languages, and four were adapted into motion pictures. He and his wife even live in North Carolina, where the movie was flimed.
This is the house"Serendipity"that was used in the movie.I imagine that the owners are quite proud. These
