In just a few minutes you can drive from Nags Head over to Manteo. To be a little more specific,it is located along highway 64,a major highway from main land North Carolina to the Outer Banks. We vacation every year in Kill Devil Hills, and I still say it is just a jump over to Manteo from Nags Head.

The town of Manteo has much to do and see.New retail shops are in the planning stage. You can park your car in the Roanoke Island Festival Park lot,and take a pleasant stroll over the Cora Mae Basnight Bridge to shop and eat.
